Successful software trials at Chelsea and Westminster

we have been trialing our groundbreaking mobile applications at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a trust that treats more than 360,000 patients a year and one of the top five hospitals in England for low mortality rates, Chelsea and Westminster has patient safety at the core of its organization. We are successfully trialing the software using a selection of mobile devices.

Leading manufacturer Samsung has been extremely helpful in facilitating the trial by loaning a number of devices including some of their new ruggedized tablets, which are well-suited for a clinical environment because they can be dropped without causing damage to the device.

The trust is rolling out ThinkVitals across the Acute Assessment Unit at Chelsea and Westminster while working towards implementing the software across the entire organization.

Also, last week, we were recognized at the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for our ThinkVitals software module on recording and measuring frailty.
